Naruto Shippuuden is a Japanese term which means “Naruto Whirlwind”. It was a title given by the anime creator of the story of Naruto to the anime part wherein Naruto has grown mature and stronger.

In other words, Naruto Shippuuden is an anime based on the Naruto Manga. Previously this Anime was entitled, “Naruto”. Naruto is a name of the main character of the story who aims to become Hokage (the leader of their village which is equivalent to General).

The story of the Naruto Shippuuden starts when Naruto returned to the village of Konoha after the 2 ½ training under the supervision of Konoha’s Jiraiya (Ero Sennin or Perverted Hermet), who is one the Legendary Sannin.
