Jean recently emailed me, asking me about the number of the Bijuu successfully extracted by the Akatsuki up to the Naruto Shippuuden episode 20.
The Number of Extracted Bijuu
Actually, it was not mention on the Naruto Shippuuden series whether how many Bijuu are already extracted successfully by the Akatski from their Jinchuuriki. However, we can tell about it by just looking at the giant stone where the extracted Bijuu where stored.

How To Determine?
You see the image above? It’s like a large head with 9 eyes and a large mouth. The mouth of it is where the power of the Bijuu enters after extracting it from the body of the Jinchuuriki. Each of the eyes is assigned to each of the Bijuu. When the each of the eyes doesn’t display its lens, it means the Bijuu assigned for that eye is not yet stored. Since from that image, there are only 2 eyes that display lens, it means that there are only 2 Bijuu stored on that weird thing.
But then, after the extraction of the Shukaku from the body of Gaara-Sama, another eye shows its lens. In other words, there are already 3 Bijuu are extracted from Jinchuuriki and is stored on this huge stone thing.
