It seems that the real mission of Sai is so confusing. The Naruto Shippuuden episode 49 revealed to us that Sai’s mission is to act as the messenger of the ROOT-ANBU to Orochimaru for the planned revolution against the present Konoha. However, this week’s episode, 50, tells us the real mission of Sai and that is to assassinate Sasuke.

sai’s real mission is to assassinate sasuke, its just a front that his mission is to act as a messenger he need to do that drama(act as the messenger of the ROOT-ANBU to Orochimaru)for him to get near to sasuke

sasuke real misson is not kill sasuke… even the ep shows,,, he have a back up plan to decoil yamato sakura and naruto from his real REAL misson u see
